Wolfert Ousman Media Library - The Gambia

This project in The Gambia started in 2018 and includes the renovation of the Ousman Bun Affan Basic Cycle and Senior Secondary School in Tanjeh, the installation of a new roof with solar panels, the supply and installation of furniture in the form of 50 school desks and, in collaboration with local workers, the construction of the 'Wolfert Ousman Media Library'. This project will be continued in 2024! Check it out!

NEA ONNIM - Ghana project

This spring, an initiative trip took place to Assin-Nkran in Ghana. In collaboration with the local community of Assin-Nkran, Biblionef Ghana and the Predios Group, MediaMundial is realizing 'NEA ONNIM', a media library at the Assin-Nkran / Ngresi District Assembly School. The building has been designed with a strong emphasis on sustainability through the use of local resources and materials and incorporates a range of green building techniques. You can read all about it in this newsletter.

New ambassador

The MediaMundial board will be supported by ambassadors from 2023. We are proud that, in addition to Gijs Berk and Lennart Dirks, a third star has now been added: Jule Corthals!

Curaçao project accomplished

On April 15, 2023, a group of 16 students from Wolfert van Borselen left for Curaçao. At the Marnix College Rio Canario they have worked, among other things, to set up and decorate a media library.
